To call the French side:
Replace 05 90 by: 590-590 and then the number for fixed phones.
(ex: 011-590-590-xx-xx-xx)
Replace 05 90 by: 590-690 for cellular phones (ex: 011-590-690-xx-xx-xx)

To call the dutch side:
dial 599-5xx-xxxx
usually old cellular number can be reached by dialing: 011-599-55x-xxxx
and fixed number by dialing: 011-599-54x-xxxx

Remember; the Euro is now the official currency on the French side.
1 euro equals around $0.88 - Do not be fooled.
It is highly recommended to change your Dollars into Euro at one of the
various money exchange offices in Marigot on the French side.
If paying by credit cards, on the French side; make sure you are charged
in Euros and not in Dollars. You will get the best exchange rates by doing so.
